Bergamot is a unique fruit, which grows exclusively on the sunny slopes of Calabria’s Ionian coast and is famed for its fine properties. In January the fresh fruit is picked, washed and peeled. The peel, rich in essential oils, is steeped in alcohol for maceration. The fruit is immediately pressed and the juice is added to the base spirit. These delicate processes, carried out with great care and infinite craftsmanship, result in a totally natural liqueur.
